Presidents Corner
We have the new web site in place. The best part is that we will be able to keep the members more informed. A feature of the new web site is the ability to poll the members to get their comments before anything gets done. Before you can vote on a poll, or ballot, you must register. You will also be able to contact your directors, renew or join the IMPBA, and do your club registration thru the web site.
I have asked the Board that we don’t accept any proposals until after the 2010 Internats meeting. We need to get our rule book up to date and on the web site, and we’re also getting ready to rewrite the rule book text with an up to date computer program.

Our membership includes nitro, gas and fast electric powered radio control boating hobbyists, running and racing all types of boats. We are the local Tiffin, Bellevue, Fremont, Republic Ohio and surrounding area Radio control club...
The Tiffin Ohio Radio Control Modelers were formed to promote all types of radio control activities. We proudly present one of the most beautiful flying sites in Ohio. We offer a park-like setting with a guest shelter, picnic tables, BBQ gas grill and rest facilities for your comfort. We feature a 520ft x 160ft manicured grass runway and also an 11 acre lake for float planes. We are open to any new potential member that would like to join.

The Southern Ontario Model Boat Club was founded in 2005 with (5) members and has grown steadily since. Our members range in age from 10-70. Our pond is located in Tilbury Ontario and we are proud members of the International Model Power Boat Association (District-2). Our practice times during the season are every Sunday from 08:00 am till 01:00 pm and every Thursday from 01:00 pm till 09:00 pm.

I have a map for those that are interested in joining us to either relax for a day or simply race. We welcome new-comers at all levels of radio controlled boat racing. From the individual that is just curious to the person that has been involved for years but has not experience to the fastest (what-a-be) driver on the water.
